How many years have you played Racquetball? 11+
We want to know your story. How did you start playing racquetball? My dad plays, and when I was three years old, he would bring me to the courts. I eventually picked up his racquet, and I never gave it back. I ended up playing in my first tournament when I was seven.
Do you remember your first tournament? Yes
How did you do in that tournament? All of the juniors got participation plaques. I remember I won a few matches against some girls, and I was terrified to play against the boys.
What are your favorite things about playing racquetball? The community, friendships, exercise, memories, and all the skills needed to play. These skills come in handy in other sports and areas of my life.
What are your racquetball goals? Fitness, competition and fun.
What would you say or do to get more people to play racquetball? I would introduce myself and tell them my story, hoping to evoke motivation and encouragement to play. I would also offer my support and guidance whenever someone wanted or needed it.

How do racquetball players know you? acquetball players know me because I’m always wearing pink, I’m always smiling, and my hair is in a bun. They also know me because I consistently practice and drill at the courts.

Where do you consider home? My house in Minnesota, the club I practice at, and being surrounded by my friends and family.
What is your motivation for the game? What keeps you playing? I want to be the best racquetball player I can be, and racquetball is such a huge part of my life that without it, I wouldn’t be me.

What other sports you do you play? Swimming
What do you do in the off season? For me, there is no off season. I take a max of 8 weeks off each year. During that time, I spend time outside, with my friends, exercising, and working.
If you don’t play in tournaments, what would get you to play in one this season? Why would I not play in tournaments? It’s my JAM!!!
