The inaugural Hall of Fame event took place in 1988, created and hosted by Bob McNamara at the Greenway Health Club in Minneapolis. It was founded to bring the community together each year through a tournament and a celebratory banquet. |
This annual event has become more than a gathering — it’s a celebration of community, a tribute to the players who shaped the sport, and an investment in the young athletes who will carry racquetball into the future. Through the generosity of sponsors and donors, auctioned items help fuel grassroots programs. By honoring our promise to keep this tradition alive, we ensure that Bob’s legacy of giving continues to inspire, uplift, and strengthen the racquetball family year after year. |

A valid division must have a minimum of 4 players to be considered. Also, all amateur divisions are guaranteed two matches. Amateur divisions will include a consolation bracket. Round Robins will not have a consolation bracket. ****Participants allowed two amateurs events. IRT divisions are separate.**** Tournament Location This tournament venue features the University of Minnesota Rec Center with 8 amazing racquetball courts with back wall viewing and one with side wall viewing. All matches will be played at this venue located at 123 SE Harvard St, Minneapolis, MN 55455. You may enter this facility from the south entrance that faces The Graduate hotel. |
Hotels The host hotel for this event is The Graduate Hotel located at 615 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. The Graduate is a five-minute walk from the Rec Center and offers a full restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and meeting rooms for breakout meetings. There are several shops and restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel and rec center.
