Welcome to the 36th annual Hall of Fame event!
Minnesota Racquetball Hall of Fame – IRT 700
(Men, Women, Junior, and Collegiate divisions offered)
University of Minnesota (Rec Center)
March 6th – 9th, 2025
History
The first Hall of Fame event was held in 1988, created and hosted by Bob McNamara at the Greenway Health Club in Minneapolis. Bob noticed there were many championship players from our state and thought they should be recognized. He also acknowledged that you didn’t need to be a champion on the court. These individuals have all contributed to the sport in the way of enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and helping new players learn the sport of racquetball. Bob did not only wish to bring people together to play racquetball, but he also used these celebrations to fundraise for the sport that was near and dear to his heart. |
The Hall of Fame was established to unite the community annually through a tournament and a banquet. This event not only fosters social interaction and honors both past and present inductees but also supports junior programs, recognizing that they represent the future of racquetball. Thanks to generous sponsors and donations, items are auctioned to raise funds that promote grassroots racquetball. Because we made a promise to continue the tradition, Bob’s legacy of giving continues. |
The Minnesota Racquetball Legacy Group and the Minnesota Racquetball Association proudly continue to host the Upper Midwest’s largest racquetball fundraiser. This year marks our 36th annual event, taking place from March 6th to 9th at the University of Minnesota. |
We invite you all to the Minnesota Racquetball Hall of Fame event! Please join us for healthy competition, watch and socialize and help celebrate our rich tradition of racquetball and raising funds for grassroot programs. |
