Why on the front page do they have that the juniors that won. When they didn't have those events. Ex: there was no 10 and under and they said Jordan won it.

The Junior Categories were defaulted to specific Juniors and they were removed from the Junior bracket at State in order to keep the competition fair for the remaining Juniors. Putting Jordan Barth up against the remaining 10 and under players would not have been fair or enjoyable for the other players. This was a Board Decision during the seeding meeting for the state tournament. Let me know if you have any questions...

Hi there Dave,
Do these juniors get junior ranking points for winning these events. What points would my junior kids get for participating in these other events. Please resond, Andy

Yes...the Juniors in the age events were for National Ranking points specifically targeted at the Junior Nationals and Junior Worlds. Each of the players in these brackets is attending Junior Nationals and we needed to establish the ranking points in each of these divisions despite the fact there were not enough players to fill out all the junior events. There are not any points established for the Junior Intermediate and Junior Beginner brackets. If you plan to have your kids attend Junior Nationals in the future please notify us and we can have make sure we let them play in a playoff at their age group. As we didn't believe this was the case this year we just established each of the elite juniors at each age group. Please let me know next year if you plan to attend junior nationals so we can plan accordingly.

Thanks,

Dave
